I have tried tons of vest and chest rigs and now I just roll with a belt with mag pouches and a dump pouch.
it is way convenient when -raining or cold -wearing a hydration carrier -using a radio+headset -using a 2point sling

That is the MCR4 that I use and is full Molle and very very light. Condor released the MCR5 which is the same but with M4 and pistol mag pouches already sewn on the front. The MCR5 is better suited for M4 owners and not as versatile as the MCR4. Last edited by SuperHog; October 11th, 2012 at 23:06.. |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Plus one for Condor equipment. Well made out of cordura. Comes in Multicam, A-Tacs AU, tan, green, and black. The operators plate carrier is about $120, and real steel. You can outfit a full multicam loadout from chest rig, pouches, to blast belt, and holster for about $300 - $350.

Keep it simple is all I can say. Wear what you will be comfortable in based on your playing style... If you dont know your playing style, go play! Youll find out very soon.
Wear only what you need for a game. Focus on mags first, set them up so you can draw them effectively and keep them secure, then a radio pouch, then a utility pouch of some sort for extras. Get some form of hydration, for short games, a backpack type is ok, but for long ones, cant stand the straps on top of the vest, get a vest with a molle back panel for your hydration to clip into. Get a padded molle belt for your holster, pistol mags, dump pouch and a small utility pouch for killrag and snacks. Get other pouches if you have other stuff you need to carry during a game. CB or Tan is pretty general and blends in well with really any uniform color. I used to run all green, but thats when I ran all green camo, now I switched to CB and it works with anything. You wont know exactly what you need til you play and figure it out. Cheers!

Get your self a battle belt. Add to that. It will keep you going until you decide what kind of rig you want to run.
Try on a few, many guy's are pretty sound about people asking for a look see and a try on. I run an OLD (Nearly 10 years) Eagle Industries Maritime CIRAS and it never lets me down, ever. But I also LOVE MAV's. (Tactical Tailor) and have used them many times. Buy Right and Buy Once.

I think I have made a decision! Was out playing with a bunch of guys this weekend and saw a lot of Pantac vests.
I think I have decided on a Pantac 6094 PC in CB. It seems like there are endless option for upgrading and adding to this vest as it is all MOLLE. Its around the $135 mark so seems like a decent value for the price! Does this seem like a decent rig to run? Thanks! |

These guys seem to think so, although their vests are made by LBT.
