New Modify Hop up system
As there have been many discussions on Hop ups vs barrel diameters, there is no doubt in my mind this is the core of grouping etc.
The KWA has an interesting bucking and I can tell you its groupings are tight. tight tight. That one has a 2 point contact. Well check this one out, the FLAT part is what touches the bb. Just like the new WIDE BORE barrels out, there seems to be an interesting evolution going on. Dear Friends, We’d like to introduce you our new released item GB-05-63 MODIFY BATON RYUSOKU HOP UP BUCKING SET. It is designed in Japan and made in Taiwan. It features stabilizing the hopper and improve the accuracy when using heavy BBs. (0.25g or above heary BBs). Modify aims to produce and offer customers multi products with high quality to meet customers’ demand. Features: Friendly use. No more modify. Efficiently improves the accuracy. Stabilize and extend the trajectory |

Looks like a great idea. Interesting to see if it really works.

The flat hop has been around for many years already via the Firefly nubs and shaved hop-up sleeves.
I suppose it's easier for people to install so they don't have to shave their own sleeves. But then again, I'd rather pick and choose the right hop-up sleeve to match with my nozzle to achieve the best air-seal possible rather than constraining myself to using a specific hop sleeve. Often some hop sleeves don't work well with certain nozzles and/or hop-up units. Also: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=146131 Last edited by Stealth; October 14th, 2012 at 21:41.. |
