Madbull DD RIS II 9.5" Barrel Nut Compatibility with WE M4 GBBR

Does anyone know if the standard barrel nut that comes with the rail is compatible with the we m4 gbbr upper receiver? or would i have to buy the G&P barrel nut because of threading issues?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Nope, you'll need the G&P nut. Careful not to overtighten it as well.

What? NO. Don't give advice about stuff you don't know about.

The Madbull kit fits on the WE upper right out of the box with the included parts. I have one installed.

PRO TIP #1: You'll want to use the armorer's wrench to tighten it down enough so there's no wobble. But keep an eye on that o-ring.

PRO TIP #2: When tightening the 6 nuts that hold the rail in place, use the carry handle to join the receiver and rail, and put some spacers around the barrel and the inside of the rail to keep everything centered and aligned properly.

Amen to That! Not pointing to a particular example, but we see too many instances of people giving advice about equipment they've never used.

PRO TIP #1a: The original WE barrel nut O-ring is hollow inside - like a loop of macaroni. When it fails, your rifle will develop huge amounts of barrel wobble. You're best bet is to replace it - before it fails, with a solid O-ring, which you can buy at any decent hardware store for dirt cheap.

Thanks for the tips and quick responses fellas. When I was doing my research on the Internet, the responses were saying stuff for the rails only.

With two different barrel nuts, and them not specifying what they used. It was better I checked in here first before going out and wasting money on something i don't need.

Thanks again!
