Hello from Germany

@ Lubba: I think you may be referring to hunters and stuff up in the North. As far as I know they're allowed to carry rifles/shotguns for protection from bears, timber wolves, etc. In populated areas because there is no need we're not allowed. But we are more open to airsoft here in Canada than Germany thats for sure. In fact I hear people from the Rhienland and North Rhien also go over to France or Netherlands to play or something.

Also, I was in Munich last year and even being an English speaker, while I was hanging out with some friends and I felt that there was a marked difference between the German accent/tone/pace there as compared to when I was in Mannheim, or Mainz/Wiesbaden, or Austria.

There is definately a difference between the german dialects. Thats a reason for many germans to tease other germans with different dialect.
Using a bavarian dialect can bring you into big trouble when you walk into certain german cities because of tensions between different soccer clubs But I can imagine its the same way in some cities in Canada, maybe not because of soccer but of other sports, or am I wrong? Any tips which club i shouldnt be a fan of when Im exploring toronto?

I think that he may of been refering to the view towards airsoft rather than the dialect differences. And if you are going to Toronto, stick with the Maple Leafs with regards to hockey teams, otherwise you should be good to go.

Well I come from Strasbourg (France), We played a lot with some Germans from Kehl and around. That were really amazing Good memory.

If I remember, Germans only played with semi but they enjoyed when they were in France cause we doesn't have this restriction.
