battery discharge rate needed to run an AEG
does anyone know what the avg discharge rate needed to run an AEG is? preferably in A or amps.

I'd say around 35 ?

Agreed with Kos, with stock guns expect around 15A
If your goal is to run LiPo, read the lipo sticky thread in noob section, even if you know lipos, you may not know the specifics needed to ready airsoft guns for lipo. And it's always a good idea to run a fuse matched to the discharge rate on your lipo. |

I wouldn't completely discount what Terry wrote. He knows his shit. Not many people have that kind of equipment just sitting around in the basement. Well aside from DonP. PTW's have a 30 amp Fuse, and Systema drop in gearboxs run the 30 or 35amp fuses (box with the mosfet).
But I agree with TC go and read the lipo sticky in the newb area |
