TM G17 enhanced recoil spring on a KJW G23 good idea?
hi, read some other post about comparable parts between TM glocks and KJW glocks but didn't find the answer i was looking for,so i was wondering if someone knew if you could fit a TM enhanced spring for G17 on KJW G23 because i bought the hammer spring-recoil spring set and installed the hammer spring no problem but the recoil G17 rod is to long so i took the spring off and installed it on my G23 rod (spring is less then an inch longer)put the G23 back together dry fired it and works fine but the recoil is stronger (obviously),so to get to the point is this healthy for the gun,is it going to crack the frame or metal slide or anything else? any advice would be appreciated

The glock 23 is a Glock 19. I know TM never made a 19, so I know the recoil spring won't work in it (it's too short, the Glock 17 recoil spring would be too long for it), but I don't know if a KSC recoil spring will work in it (KSC makes the G19, but is not TM compatible).
EDIT: Sorry, didn't fully read your post: It's possible just the spring will fit, but you may find that the enhanced spring will not compress fully (tighter coils + often more coils) and will short stroke the gun (preventing the slide catch from engaging, and in the case of the Glock, possibly making it impossible to field strip the gun...

I just put some bbs threw my g23 and so far so good,it's got kick but seems to be firing ok, just worried I'm going to crack the slide or something but I might be just worrying for nothing
