What to and what not to import
Hey there pals!
I'm new to the airsoft world as I just bought my first AEG yesterday. I already know that importing full AEGs and receivers will not make the customs, but what about mounts? Red dots scopes? Etc... I'd like to clearly know what parts of a gun I can import and which ones I can't. What gear items/Accessories I can buy from China without them being seized by Canadian Customs? I bought my first AEG, a Echo1 Red Star AKM. As I know, it's supposed to be a ''good'' starter and if it goes well for a bit, I might want to upgrade its internal parts or maybe to add a mount/scope just for the fun! Thank you for your patience towards newbies just like me! |

Anything but: Guns, receivers, magazines with fake bullets, and mock silencers, are easy to import.
The stuff mentioned avobe is better to get in country. Save yourself a headache.

Thank you! I just looked at some canadian retailers and in fact, the prices are very similar to those in China.

I bought a 2way radio (both UHF and VHF), headset with ppt, AOR1 full set uniform, batteries, assault pack with hydration, for about.. 150 CAD from China. A friend is bringing them over. China's prices are cheaper if you are buying clothing and equipment. When you look for things on Chinese websites, remember you are going to divide their prices by whatever the conversion is. 6? something like that. Last edited by Jsheng; March 24th, 2012 at 22:33.. |
