Echo 1 XCR minor problem
Hey guys.
Hopefully one of you gun techs can help me out. So I took my new gun apart for the first time last night and took out the 140 spring and put in a new m120 spring. It was quite the event as I had never taken one apart before. After finally getting it back together the gun only wants to shoot 1 out of 4 times. By this i mean i pull the trigger 3-4 times and only 1 BB comes out. This has the version 2 split gearbox design. Help please. Last edited by Deadlock; May 20th, 2011 at 16:30.. |

nope its on and working fine. i think that it may be something with the nozzle at the end. from videos i have seen that the nozzle should be able to push in and out, mine does not, or it would be something to do with the seeting of the lower gear boox and the one cog with half teeth should be facing down and not teeth up?

Is the air nozzle clipped on the tappet plate?, these are two pieces, but perform one function, they must be installed correct for you're gun to even work.

"Gun fires" is very ambiguous.
The problem you're experiencing is usually because either the tappet plate spring isn't on, or the nozzle isn't attached to the tappet plate. |

in the lower gear box, does that one cog have to be in a certain position?

Its similar to the ICS design u have to rotate the gears until the upper gear is smooth then reasemble or else it will either not fire or strip teeth of the piston

ya..i had read that the cog with half teeth needs to be teeth down.
I reassembled the upper gear box and i didn't realize that the nozzle had a small slit for the tappet plate to slide into. so upper gear box should be fine now. |
