For affordable reliable vests look at these ones here. I only put in one modular one since the extra pouches you'll need will ramp the price up to the sky.
http://ascmart.ca/product_info.php?c...products_id=63 http://ascmart.ca/product_info.php?c...products_id=63 http://www.oneshottactical.com/Merch...ry_Code=BlueFG And to answer the question about nylon it'll really depend on the material and how it's sewn, with the dead link none of us can add info on the one you've found.

Nylon has lots of different qualities depending on the manufacturer, so it's not an indicative on the quality of the vest.
Cordura is good.

Every person I've met who uses that kind of soft dropleg holster has lost pistol mags as a result of bumping the release. I would say in the long run that will cost you a lot more than the list price as your mags litter the ground behind you like breadcrumbs.

I would not expect very much. As for Flyye, they make fair quality gear. Nothing fantastic but its definitely not garbage.

as for that High density crap it was never that "great find" I was wary from the moment I saw the price tag but it seem like everyone confirmed my suspicions

If you want cheap, quality gear, look for Flyye, Pantac and some of the Condor products.
That should be your baseline for quality replica gear. And by quality I mean, airsoft standard quality. Not military specs. Even if Pantac come close with some of their stuff.

Are Kraft or Durex good brands? Some will say yes some will say no. Its entirely opinionated. It depends on how low you set your idea of quality. For me, I dont believe ACM is a good brand.

Go on YouTube, search for Redwolf Airsoft's Pantac Vest destructive review, its a pretty infortaining watch, your answers will be there, they actually do a pretty destructive review, its in two parts. Once your of age and gaming, you'll find that you get your money's worth with a Pantac, its adjustable, will put up with rash, and it gets more character with wear. Trust me, you WILL end up using all its abilities once you're down and dirty.

ACM is not a brand, it's short for All China Made usually for "out of factory" stuff before being branded officially.
Example : M14-JAE, the KART one is only the ACM in a fancier box ... but for vests it's usually crap. As for vests, except for Flyye, I never saw a nylon hold well my most basic mistreatment. Don't waste your money, just buy a good Pantac/Condor/Flyye with pouches (or like me use real stuff). It's more expensive but it's worth it. |
