HPA in green gas mags?
so i have not tried this yet but I have been mauling it around in my mind.
HPA usually comes at 3000-5000psi. How ever I have found regulators that can take it all the way down to 120psi which is what propane is stored at. Now I know I could atleast get one or two shots off at that PSI how ever the problem is Co2 and green gas are stored as liquid. HPA is stored in high pressure than used in smaller quantities which is how you get more shots off..... Has anyone attempted this? If its doable than the cool down effect would eliminated and cold weather GBBing would be possible. |

don't do it! to get any usable amount of HPA in the mag, you will blow your seals and or valves. search. I've posted about it before. you will never get enough compressed air in a mag. the big issue with hpa is contamination. you won't want to get oil in there or it will go boom! oil is okay with air coming out but the problem will be when you fill the tank! edit: I know that HPA tanks are filled via the nipple on the side. minor brain freeze. BUT, oil can get into the tank when you fill a mag. when the tank is low on air, it is possible to 'back wash' (for lack of a better term) any oils on the fill valveinto the tank. It's pointless, if you want buy a external hookup kit so you can hook a CO2 or HPA tank to the fill vale of the mag and use it as such. Great for test firing playing full auto indoor when you don't want the propane smell.

yah I kinda figured if it had not been done yet it was not possible. Only way I can think of making it work would be a reg in the mag and have the mag built to handle high pressure..... Making mags stupd pricey. Back to the drawing board....
if only we could some how harness electricity in some sort of pack and run guns off that *sarcasim* |

What about a box magazine with external hook up? How come no company has come out with that yet.
