P90 400 FPS

Ok I am buying a new P90 that is shooting around 400 FPS. The only upgrades to the gun so far are the spring and metal bushings. Will this setup last, or will other parts need to be replaced in order to ensure reliability with the higher tension spring? Anyone else use this setup with success? Thanks.

FYI - I don't shoot more than 2 second bursts and usually go through less than 1000 rounds a day, so I don't put much stress on the motor/gearbox.

I had a 400fps (chronied 405-410fps) P90 with only metal bushings and spring upgrades. Lasted around 2-3k rnds with the first owner, another 5-6k with me, and then I sold it. The ver.6 mechbox is one of the strongest if not the strongest. Piston may wear down faster but TM pistons are usually quite good, as are their gears. It should be fine for a good while at least.

i'm afraid he can't answer that until you're verified. My tm P90 is still using stock gears. Althoug it's only shooting at 380. After 5k rounds the only items replaced were the tappet plate and the piston.

I find the sector gear does tend to wear with this set-up. Inspect it before season start. Fortunately they aren't hard to come by.

A bearing spring guide wouldn't hurt if it doesn't already have one. I'd check the wear on the piston too.
