If you are going to ABC, tell Murich that Airsoft Chad from Xbox sent you.

I ran my MP5 once, had 5 mags, didn't feel like wearing my vest anymore (was wearing it already for some 5 hours of play that day while running my rifle) So i duct taped 2 mags together, one pointing up in each direction and stuck that in my pocket, and then i duct taped the other 3, 2 pointing in the same direction, middle one pointing in opposite and ran with that in the gun.

that's the cheapest suggestion I have

You could also look into chicom gear if you want... its common, cheap and damn well made! A normal 3-cell one should do you fine.

$20 molle belt, and one double M14 mag pouch. A double M14 mag pouch will carry 6 MP5 mags as I recall...

Seeing as this thread's getting a lot of attention, figured I'd jump in and derail it a bit by asking if any company makes MP5 shingles like the open top M4 pouches, but obviously for MP5? Also, all of these suggestions are great for a beginner, loving the duct tape idea. and cargo pants = cheapest semi-effective mag holder.

Walmart fanny packs, but seriously, spend $40 on a temporary vest from a place like ASGI.

Before anyone trashes the Fanny Pack idea, better think about looking over your shoulder first

Edit: Just made one, it took less than 8 minutes, and works fine. I admit it doesn't look great but I just tore off the tape with my teeth, if you use a knide and take a bit of care it will work out just fine
Eeyore can you post a picture, I'd also like to see this creation!

Hey... nothing wrong with garbage bags.. they're quite "ninja" in my opinion.

Dude.. if you do not have the budget to purchase a vest.. Buy 2 of these badboys and stack em on a waist belt... lightweight and fast!!! That's a $60 solution. Smoke some pretty-boys on the field wearing just this...Get some no-frills kills, you'll get the props you deserve.
