I imagine the shells had to much friction on each other aswell as the extractor.

silicone oil also engorges the orings, reducing air leakage.
Its a temporary fix, but you cant keep oiling everything on the field. Nor (personally) do i like to handle oil covered shells. Call me prissy, but thats just me.

Nice find, they are not much good for gaming and the rounds are costly but it's still a K98 and the best version Dboys has to offer (Gas/Wood)

The extractor design is a poor one, its not grabbing the base of the shell well thats why.

But Honestly, you really should get a real k98, not an airsoft if all you do is plink. Surplus ammo are still available, its not too bloody expensive.

you'll have to make one, and get a one piece inner barrel.

Get a hopup rubber that is the right thickness/consistency of your old torn one, maybe slightly softer. The two piece inner barrel has different diameters, scrap them thats why its will shoot 3/5 decent shots.
Measure the length of your 2 piece inner barrel and cut and machine/order or buy and install the new one piece inside your K98 and you'll have a much better working rifle

The dboys is a piece of junk; however, i found an interesting thread on how to make it into a decent springer (no more shell ejecting); it requires a lot of work and a VSR-10.
