Custom outer barrel length

Has anyone had experience with shortening an outer barrel and had it re-threaded? I'm looking to shorten my WA M4 outer barrel to about 190mm.

Would I be able to just go to a shop with a lathe and get it done? Or is there someone specific on the forum who can do this.
