Not sure what the actual dimensions are ...but there's just a bit more room than a mini pack (3x3x1). A split (two sticks) 9.6v mini (4 x 4) fits as well...but it's a tight fit because of the outer barrel.
Reroute the wires and rub a black shrink wrapped extension to the box mag...there's tons of room in there. Tys |

Potential problem.
The issue that you will run into is that the gun will cycle faster than the mag can feed it. It will shoot very fast but you will have misfires every once in a while.

This will fix the misfeed problem.
http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=953 And sorry bud that lipo won't fit. The internal dimentions of the handguards are; 3.6 w 4.2 h 13.5 l Here is a site with tons of smaller lipos. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...2&ParentCat=85

Ok, ton confirm,
Lipo (11.1) in M249 = misfeed? And using this part prevent it? Ok, and I can put the battery in the box mags with re wiring?

Yes the link I provided for the gear selector clip will prevent misfeeds. Yes you can put the battery in the box mag. Its not hard to re-wire. I changed my saw from rear to front wire in 10 minutes. Or alternatively get a smaller lipo.
