its a padded head for the piston, or cylinder.....

and on another note, im not understanding why guys think they need batterys with 40C rating, its just not necessary, a 15 to 20C constant lipo thats capable of say 30C is good enough by a long shot. there is no way these electric motors are pulling such high amps that a 40c would be needed.....

my electric heli's will pull up to 100A at times, but VERY rarely, a good brushless outrunner for a small 450 class bird is around 40A tops, and thats burst, i can run a 15C lipo in it, but itll bog, and come down warm, a 20C will come down cooler, and these things use way more amps than an airsoft motor anyday. the airsoft motor has one speed, not always varying like a heli does.....

and just an update on my stock JG M4, ive got at least 15000 rounds through it running a 20C 2100 mAh 3s lipo, and its holding up 100%, piston looks fine, gears are fine. this is a tough gun, thats for sure!

UPDATE:

she finally kicked the bucket...... the bb's are slowly puking out the barrel! :-)

id say i got EASILY 20,000 shots out of it, and i bought it USED!

so, tomorrow, ill yank it all apart and update the thread as to what gave up. and head on off to airsoftparts.ca and get er set back up!

stay tuned!

ginnz.

UPDATE:

well, it appears the piston stripped. thats all...... no other damage, so for the amount of bb's i put through it, and who knows how many the prvious owner shot through it, id say it did alright! so, i just placed an order to airsoft parts canada. i was really wanting a sorbo pad/cylinder head... but the dang thing is always out of stock, so heres what i did order....

1 x MA Titanium Piston - Full Teeth $25.00
1 x Modify Enhanced Cylinder Head - V2 $25.00
1 x Modify Bearing Spring Guide - V2 $15.00
1 x Modify Polycarbonate Bearing Piston Head $15.00

and i should be getting the 363mm badbull tightbore this week, so ill hold off on putting it all together till all the parts arrive, then the M4 should be back in action, bigger, and better!

i hope i made a reasonable order, to make it better than it was!

hang on for updates! ill let ya know how it all works out!

ginnz.
