Pacific Concepts gun cam demo/review
This is on loan to me courtesy of Matt Walsh of warcraftgames
This camera comes with a rail adapter and is easy to mount! The rear of the camera houses the sd memory card and adapters for two importing options so watch this thread over the next couple of days as I will have footage available. |

mount
I have the Stealth Cam that Bass Pro shops sells. I really like your mount which looks like a scope mount. Where would I find those in different diameters?

I'm giving this system a full thumbs down. Poor resolution due to AVI format that cant be edited or the sound doesnt match the video. Sound quality is....well lets just say the teacher from "Charlie brown" was more legible than this unit. On top of that my airsoft rifle sounds like real steel thanks to poor sound quality.
here is one clip in 320x480 size and no editing,,just the raw file. http://www.filefront.com/14137567/AVI_0006.AVI/ |

I wouldn't use it for a full video worth of footage, but the grainy-style thing does look like it could be good for quick intervals. Like if the primary cameraman is following someone, and that someone ends up getting in a firefight with that gun-cam, when the final movie is put together, you can have a quick flash as to what the other person was seeing, and it'd be done through the grain. The sound, on the other hand, I don't think I'd use if anyone's voice was heard. The shots sound nice, but voices sound terrible.

That is awesome in the sense that it makes it feel like real world militia is using the camera. I would say the poor sound is a benefit in making your AEG sound like misc. Hollywood machine gun.
Can't imagine what a Noveske amplifier would do to that thing.
