aug from shell, little overwhelmed
okay I've been poking around and I'm building an long phantom AUG, DMR style. 400-410 fps so I still have full auto available . anyways, I'm a little overwhelmed with all the different companies and such so I have some questions as ALL the internals will be completely aftermarket
- is the BE (both elephant) AUG body 'TM capatible'? it's a cheap option to get and gut the junk within .. but I just wanna know ofcourse that aftermarket stuff will fit back into it.. - barrel will be a deep fire stainless 6.02 @ 705mm (with the last 50ish mm drilled for the silencer to work ) ... now heres the question... I am also looking at the deep fire "tune up" kit but it it recommended to get the enlarged Cylinder and Nozzle with a barrel that long? - what brand and type hop up and rubber would people suggest... again looking @ deep fire brand.. 1 peice metal .. but I honestly don't know the best option as theres really not alot of DMR/sniper AEG talk on the forum - does anyone know of any short low cap mags for the aug?

okay I've been doing as much research as I can ...
it appears that even the plastic mech box el cheapo BE Aug is "tm compatible" so that solves that issue... the only 700+mm inner barrel I can find is the Deep fire 6.02 stainless so that's the only choice at this point. and from what I can tell the enlarged cylinder and nozzle are recommended (atleast by deep fire and prometheus) for 500+mm inners with 390+ fps. ... so unless told otherwise, I'll be sticking that route. as for the hop up... I am looking at the G&G metal unit, with an H 'nub' and a prometheus Hard rubber ... can anyone think of a better option? - it appears for a short mag, I'm on my own with a saw and glue... I have a new question though.... a source for aftermarket Aug mechbox shell? ... I've seen alot of Ver3's that were listed except aug... I'm honestly trying to assemble the best available parts (so no super rare mechbox bits... cause I just might break it ) ... I'm not adverse to paying for parts, as I only wanna build this once (once right ofcourse, if I break it that's my own learning curve) and them I'm gonna game the hell out of it although it might seem I'm asking things ASC doesn't have answers for... or if the aug guru's are reading they are keeping to themselves *shakes fist*

If the BE Aug is indeed fully TM compatible, then you should be able to buy any aftermarket V3 mechbox, then attach all the "aug specific" outer mechbox bits from the BE. Then fill w/ your choice of aftermarket internals.

thank you! .. see that makes perfect sense ... as pretty much none of the just mechbox shells I've seen make a distinction other then version.
I'm wavering between the deep fire and the systema stuff... ofcourse the systema stuff costs more, but I see way more praise for it on the boards... and I could in theory build a "silent" AEG with the systema bits
