Is this a PASGT helmet?

Picked up this piece at Army Issue, Mississauga in '06. Was told it was a PASGT-style helmet.

Now with the cover on, it looks exactly like one. But with the cover off, it's a little strange. Look:

does it have two small bolts coming out of the sides of the helmet or where they removed?

the only real difference looks to be the bolts and the visor part in the front. It curves into the dome of the helmet more gradually than does the PASGT.

How much did you pay for it?

Whoa there lad, Army Issue is a solid retailer. If he told you it was a PASGT, he likely believed it to be so. If that's the case, there was a mistake, not an intentional attempt to "rip you off".

If you have an issue, go back to him and deal with it. I think you'll find him quite reasonable.

Go back to Army Issue and switch it or trade in and add in some cash.
