5.11 Socks
I'm looking for a store in Toronto that sells 5.11 Socks. I've heard good things and I want to treat my tootsies to something nice.
I can order on their website but I can't get behind the $20+ shipping for socks. Does anyone know a retailer in Toronto that deals 5.11? I figured this would have been posted before but the forum search came up dry. Could be because I'm using tapatalk. Thanks for your suggestions ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

From someone that has owned 20 pairs of these, let me give you my opinion. Their are two different thicknesses (Level I and Level II). These are quite comfy socks, and the Level II are great in the winter. 5.11 now sells them in a 3 pack for $25. However, these socks did not appear to last longer then other socks I owned. I had issues with them wearing out at the heel and the pad under my toes. They seemed to wear out between 6 months and a year of regular use. Note that I used these 5 days a week in my duty boots. I emailed 5.11 and they said they had never heard of them wearing out under the toes, or wearing out so fast. They sent me 5 new pairs as a courtesy, but with other dealings with their customer service, it can be hit or miss. Your really paying for a brand name. I have several pairs of Fruit of the Loom work socks and they are just as comfy (but thinner) and have lasted just as long for cheaper. I would not buy more 5.11 socks unless they became cheaper.
