OBSERVED FINDINGS on stock gun
G&G TR80 DMR .... dec 2023
split gearbox closes easily(do not force closed, gears in wrong position)
muzzle flash hider, actual metal(not black plastic like soo many others)
M100 spring tested, short lipo battery(not enough room for lengthy 11.1v 1200+mah)
takes G&G GR25 mags
tamiya connector
piston all metal teeth, 17 tooth
single oring on piston head, double on cylinder head, single on nozzle(21mm)
25amp fuse
G&G Ifrit 25K motor
gearing said to be 18:1( haven't verified that)
SINGLE SHOT ONLY( some sites state burst and auto.. not the fact on this DMR)

difficulty in using the remote(have yet to see this work)

RESULTS
M100
385fps@0.20g 1.44joules
295fps@0.32g 1.23j

M120
425fps@0.20g 1.87j
344fps@0.32g 1.75j

M130
450fps@0.20g 1.87j
366fps@0.32g 1.99j (unsure why this j value got higher)

warning beep m140(batter voltage low)good to know
m140
495fps@0.20g 2.28j (3 shots fired for each weight)
391fps@0.32g 2.3j(unsure why this j value got higher)

m150
554fps@0.20g 2.85j
425fps@0.32g 2.75j

****************

tested the optical sensor that receives the BB. it will detect Black BB's,
A is ground
B is signal return
C is 5V supply.

Thought... could the optical sensor ring be modified to accept a(1-2) 5V bright LED... becoming a constantly lit "tracer" lighter??? would battery drain or signal degradation be an issue????

next post... lower gearbox electronics
