I can't put an ACOG that far back on mine, I hit my glasses on it. I have mine at the very front so the base of the ACOG is flush with the front of the rail adapter. I have a cheap Huang ACOG right now (cheap as in quality, not price, the thing is $180 or something and I don't know why) but I am snagging a G&P ACOG on my next Redwolf order.
A lot of people say its nice with an Elcan but I don't have one handy to check (sold mine before I got the L85.)
