I vouch for Tokyo Marui stuff although some are not full metal, their gearboxes are easy to tinker with, I opened it up, screwed it up (Gear teeth destroyed) and then learned to put it back together and it still worked fine.
If anything I find TM guns are quite noob tinkerer friendly since many aftermarket parts fit in nicely and usually you don't have to worry about changing anything with the gearbox
Yes V3 is pretty good, I busted the wires, soldered them back up, heat shrink wrap and then back to "Fwhip fwhip fwhip" at TTAC CQB and it won me a bag of BBs
So TM guns are a good choice, if you like to tinker, if you don't like to tinker then listen the dudes up above me
