The AG-01 grenades are perfectly legal, as are any others that use CO2 or propane, etc. to expel BBs. I have a TG6 Thumper grenade that is powered by CO2 and is absolutely fantastic. It's expensive and not the kind of thing you want to toss into thick bush, but it's a terror in CQB. The burst diaphragm "cap" can be filled with BBs and it creates a hell of a spread.

I keep telling people to check these out but the same ones that'll drop hundreds or thousands of dollars on guns and gear won't buy a reusable hand grenade for $120.

That's ok though, just means more fun for me.
