Since this is an "open-sight", you'll find that the degree of view will be limited. You pretty much have to look straight through the middle to see the dot. Move your head out of the way a bit and the dot might disappear.

It's unlike an "enclosed sight" or EOTech's HoloSight where you can see the dot pretty much no matter where your head's positioned. One other downside is that it may be damaged or dirtied more easily since it's not enclosed. But you get more visibility, because the sight's opened - and it has a smaller profile.

Construction and visual quality of this sight is not bad. The four reticles are fun to play around with, and pretty cool. The brightness is also strong enough that you can see the dot in daylight (which is a problem with many lower quality open sights).

Bottom line is, it gets the job done - on a budget.
