If you take it apart, use what I do, it's blue gasket sealant stuff I bought form Canadian Tire (automotive department). It's a silicon type gel that you can wipe on threads, put on gaskets in the mags, seals perfectly. I've fixed a few of my mags by doing that. You DO need to know where the leak is coming from though. Fill your mag and put the bottom of it in a bowl of water, see where the bubbles come out. If they come out of the fill valve, try some oil in that area (after emptying it), work the valve in and out a dozen or so times to work the oil in and see. If that doesn't fix it then you take that valve out, put the gasket sealer on the threads, put it back in and leave it for a day, then try it. If it leaks from elsewhere, you might have to punch the pins out and disassemble the mag, use the sealant around the square gasket, same as above. If it leaks out the release valve, a few drops of oil inside and around the valve head itself, press and release the valve a few dozen times to work the oil in, see if that does it.
