my mosquito molds moscart came with enough gas in it that it wnet BANG when i pushed in the pin for the first time. scared the shit out of me, but my 4 c.a. ones did not have anything in them. a small amount of gas wouldn't hurt anything, but if you put some in as a test annd periodically checked them to see if the gas stayed in, it would be a good indication if any mags may have future seal/valve problems if they lost their gas. if you're storing for long periods it would be a good idea to put some silicone oil in the mags to keep the seals moist. the gas pressure will force the oil to move towards a leak and thru and this (over time) is also a tell-tale sign of seal failure.
