About the paint on KJW's, the newer generations have more of a matte finish than the older glossy one. Also, KJW P226's CAN be upgraded, as they are somewhat TM spec, but some modification might be needed. Honestly though, there isn't much I would do to a KJ one than a stronger recoil spring, and hop rubber. That said, TM will always perform the best with green gas/propane out of the box.
