I've always wondered this. Most enthusiast forums have a section for worklogs where users post pictures and details of all the work that went into their masterpieces. So far, the most in-depth "worklog" I've seen on here are Turok's WE builds.
It would definitely cut down on a lot of newbies asking if this part or that part will work.
