That happened to my stock piston after a while on my AUG, it just ripped the head right off. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me until I took the mechbox apart and found the piston in 2 pieces. I was less than impressed.
I would recommend just bringing it to a local doctor, they'll fix it up for you champ.
The mechbox is not for the technologically disinclined, or the unexperienced.
