There will be a Sten waiting to be unwrapped Christmas morning.
Research into the Lanchester Mk1*is proving to be fun and fruitfull.
Wood for a 'built from scratch' Lanchester stock has been locally sourced. A good sized library of photos has been collected. A few original parts have been found; trigger guard and brass buttplate for example (just have to order them).
Some metal parts are going to be wood or plastic to start with until I learn the ways of metal (the sights, fore & aft, bayonet lug).
