All the first hand accounts I've been reading are that there's probably not that much of a significant difference between the 2... maybe 10% more efficiency with the A2 but that's being generous. Both motors are super torquey and super fast, unless you're building a super high speed 30+rps build, I don't think your 1-2 rps difference between the 2 will really make much of a difference.
I'd say most people who are installing a lonex motor (myself included) will never tune their guns to meet what the full potential the lonex will achieve.
Stick a 20c lipo on it and it will pull any canadian field legal spring all day long with power to spare at the end of the day. Just becareful of <110 springs. Getting a lonex powered gun to shoot <350fps will start to get tricky because they turn so bloody fast and hard.
My p90 runs a 16:1 gearset with a A1 on a 11.1v 20c lipo 1800mah and it will shoot maybe 2400 rounds easy. 395+/-5 with .2s at 30rps.
My g36 runs a 13:1 gearset with a titan A1 on a 11.1v 25c 1600mah lipo. I have not completely finished field testing this gun. But it chronos 385-390 with .2s at 34rps.
I can get probably another 2-3rps out of both setups if I took a dremel to my piston assembly and swisscheesed them, but I'm not terribly interested in the process as I'm happy with the performance as is.
Both guns run guarder sp110 springs.
