They can take a beating better then any other gun and deliver an amazing powerful round!
I myself am saving up for the Type 56-2 from Real Sword. This gun (even the airsoft model) can be buried in snow or sand and still shoot. There's also videos on the internet of these things being blown up and intact perfectly to shoot BB's!
