I don't want to rain on your parade, I too liked my G&G when I got it.
But my experience with G&G armalites has soured greatly since I purchased one 6 months ago.
I'm glad you got one with a metal body, that will save you about four headaches.
In my personal experience, if you're going to leave a G&G stock; say you like a particular configuration of a gun and want to let it be, then the higher-end ones are a good purchase.
The second you decide to do any addition or modification what-so-ever to the platform you are getting yourself into a world of hurt.
My $350 gun is soon to be an $800 gun, and it is absolutely not worth that much money.
I would not buy another G&G Armalite platform AEG.
Especially not a pneumatic blowback.
And if you are going to buy one with a plastic lower, you may as well buy a goddamn PTW because the clear plastic lower absolutely will shatter at key load-bearing structural points and force you to spend $130-$250 on a decent metal replacement.
Then you will have to spend more money or your own time filing and sanding it down to fit.
Then if you were dumb enough to buy a pneumatic blowback system you can add another $100 to buy a new mechbox shell and whatever other upgrades/ work you may as well just do at that point.
I am butthurt. I haven't even got one whole season out of my G&G.
I wanted a Barbie-doll M4 and instead I got a Bardie-Figurine M4 pattern playset.
Some assembly required.
