Burdell where did you get that info? There's several threads dedicated to the workings and quality and none agree with your statement.
Back on track, yes GBBRs have gotten slowly cheaper and cheaper. I remember in late 2009 buying a GBBR and then bought the same one again a few months ago and it was almost half the price of what I originally paid. Both new in box. So yes prices seem to be slowly declining.
