If you want to make it last slightly longer it'd be a wise idea to take it apart and replace that sad excuse for lube with some proper lube (
FinishLine Teflon). It'll put less stress on the gears and motor and it won't die out as quickly on you (although some Krakens have lasted only half a mag while others have lasted thousands of rounds, the QC is kind of hit and miss on them).
Other than that, not really. Just play with it until it breaks then get a drop in gearbox.
I've heard the ACTION V3 drop in gearbox is pretty good. Can't tell you about other brands though. Note that CYMA is the OEM manufacturer for Aftermath but I think they may use the crappier reject parts for aftermath gearboxes (ie. the "binned" parts). I think Dboys may be on the same level of quality as well.
