Yeah, sure, plastic has its advantages. It's lighter, for one. And few would ever mistake it for a real gun if they got a good look at it.
I'd take a stock gun with a reinforced mechbox, one piece barrel, metal reciever, reinforced metal tabs, quality furniture, bearings, metal shims, a quality piston with a vented piston head, metal cylinder heads, and a good air seal over TM any day. I also hate body screws, fake wood, pot metal, and Made in Japan on my gun, but that's just me.
