Tech his mother came out for a visit. I escorted her out to the playing field to first watch the youth games, then the big boys. She enjoyed off-roading making knee deep ruts with the Deuce which instantly helped the bond
and learning about the game. She opened up and we had great conversations about Mike and his career, lifestyle. She mentioned that her nephew was always after Mike's airsoft guns and wanted to play. She was quite happy and will be bringing him out now that she knows there is such a league here in Manitoba. In the end she started crying and hugged Ed (1LT Matheson) and I, thanking us for showing support. The day was a success at that point.
