Just so you know... I have installed MOE and MIAD grips on at least 7 rifles so far...

Two of them where ICS M4s (Yes, it is not supposed to be possible).

The best solution would be to re-shim your mechbox. You won't have to modify anything permanently that way.

Just displace the shims on the smaller side of the bevel gear (leave at least enough so that the gear does not rub against the mechbox).

Then do the same with the other two gears to match the bevel position.

It will let you push the motor in further and allow you to adjust the heigh properly. It might also save your motor pinion. A lot of guns I see recently have the bevel wrong, so the pinion only touch the bevel half of the surface. This cause extra noise and wear.
