Airsoft Games and Masks..Any rules?

So as I am new to the world of Airsoft, I am slowly reading as much of these forums as I can, and had quite a laugh after reading about Bunker Noobs, I will not be like that, I promise...
Anyway, as I know with paintball, for you to even be on the field, there is a rule you MUST have a mask on at all times, and even some fields require neck protectors, is this rule the same with most Airsoft fields? Do they require masks?
For the first while I will be wearing a mask of some kind just to be on the safe side....I must use my face for my occupation and if i become blind or such...I can't keep my country's airspace safe so yeah...I'm all about the face protection..and a CUP....I'll also be wielding a cup bwaha

alot of fields will enforce "full seal" goggles such as paintball goggles.
others will be contempt with ballistics glasses or goggles.
all depends where you play, and what the field prefers and enforces

personally i play with paintball goggles and a bandanna that doubles as neck protection as well as face protection.

eye protection is a must everywhere yes. be it a full mask or just goggles it must cover your eyes (you only get two and no freebies later). a lot of games are held at PBall fields so they will need you to use a pball mask no tac/shooting glasses, I used a JT one with the mask part removed so it was just eye pro.

Awesome thanks guys :)

Ya I am the same during outdoor games, I wear the JT ones as well and they aren't that bad... fairly comfortable and only about 50 bucks or so from canadian tire... they are airsoft specific if I remember correctly..

The main Atlantic Region games do not require a full face mask, nor do they require fullseal goggles. Shooting glasses is technically all you need. Is it recommended? No. Most guys on my team just wear eye protection and a mouth guard. I should wear one too, I've lost teeth playing before...but I hate them :)

Personally, I dislike big chunky goggles, but I do like the full seal around the eye that regular classes couldn't provide. I got a pair of ESS advancer v12's and they're great for that reason. Full seal, minus the bulk.

Every field I've played only required goggles or safety glasses. I've never heard of full face protection, I though that was left to the player.
