what's Ontario like
hey, everyone!
I am shortly moving to Brampton and I was wondering - as I am still making a ghillie suit - what type of woodland you have outther eg. brown tree-trunk/bark-mulch ground or green bushes and all that don't want to make a brown/green ghillie suit to find out a green/brown would have worked thanks in advance |
it really depends on where your playing, but generally my area of Ontario is dominiated by deciduous trees. that means MC is king. For ghillie, i think forest woodland would serve you best, but throw in some khaiki colors as well as some other light hues. hope that helps and sorry for the bad spelling.

Get a suit, a tie, a blackberry with a blue-tooth headset, a grande mocha latte and you should camouflage perfectly :D

Green lotsa green
Mix a little poison ivy and some poison oak with a hint of poison sumak and youll blend right in at the LZ. |
Wait 'till you get to see the field you'll be playing at before you start on the Ghille suit; different places have different environments. Where we play, there's even a mix of lots of green and lots of brown, so depending on where you are, both are great/awful.

greats outdoors playing but mostly with newbies

Brampton? Brown, lots and lots of brown.

Make your Ghillie brown- you can always add green leaves/branches for green garnish. I know most guys do it that way and it works really good. Also recommended in the Level 2 Sniper course.

Couple items that might come in handy.
