Okay:

Remove the fake cleaning rod under the barrel. See the small screw holding the gas tube? Remove that and you can slide the gas tube assembly forward. From there, the upper and lower handguards can be pulled free without difficulty.

hey, remove the screw that holds the gas tube and then slide the gas tube forward, then you can remove the lower handguard, you may be able to remove the upper handguard as well but you may need to remove the screw that holds the bracket in place, this screw is located by the rear sights.

hope this helps :)

Try Canadian Tire. They're cheap but not that great, though.

there are some kicking around hear on these forms but you got to be quick because they go fast and if you are wondering about price you will be looking at

(for the metal body)

are they easy to install? the metal body?

TokyoSeven April 9th, 2008 13:35

Its dependant on the brand. Some companies make their metal bodies on other brands, so one companies metal body may not work for anothers. Unfortunetly Im not an AK variant user so I dont know to many of the details. Installation difficulty is dependant on your knowledge of how of working with your AEG. If you are good at taking it apart and reassembling it, then in most cases its just a quick swap out. However in some instances there may be trouble shooting and some slight modifacation required.

what ak do you have? like brand etc.? sometimes the battery tray doesn't really line up properly, its only a matter of some slight mods tho

bio .2 bb's at wal mart, comes in a big tub thing, dont leave em in the sun or a warm spot after u have opened them cuz they degrade fast lol

pusangani April 9th, 2008 16:44

the element metal body will fit the kraken no problem, there's a few in the parts section and yeah ditto to the walmart bb's only open one packet at a time, they come a 1000 to a packet.

Azriel_Strife April 10th, 2008 05:14

Yup Wal-Mart Bio BB's are the only ones Iv'e used, they work good, and you can;t go wrong for $17.00 for 5000 rounds.
