My First RDS [GDS?]
Alright so I've played in 2 games with my guns so far, with no sights. So I decided it's time I needed to be able to aim! I bought this no-name RDS from an Ebay retailer, I guess in Hong Kong.
Red/Green Dot Sight with 5 brightness settings for each All aluminum body 2x42mm lens Seems like it's viewable from right up close and up to how far away I can hold it. (That means infinite eye relief right?) Seems pretty decent for cheap. Here's the pics! http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/IMG_2176.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/IMG_2179.jpg |
Looks really good on that P90!
|
wait, you have only played in two games, but you have over 2000 post's?
|
I sugest you remove the flip-up covers. I had them on on my P90 and they where getting in the way when shooting. They also reduce your FOV a lot in CQB.
It look good on a P90. I have an Aimpoint on mine and it's a little shorter, but give the same overall killer look. If I'd have to do it again, I'd chose an EOtec or something open and smaller. |

And the flip covers thing? Yeah maybe right before a game, that's a good idea. |
Hmm I was always intrigued by the RDS's with 2x magnification. Interesting to hear that it has such variable eye relief, I thought it'd act the same as any scope due to the magnification.
|
Update: ANOTHER one showed up at my door. Strange. But hey, I'll take a free RDS.
|
Mount the RDS to the other RDS and use one for EACH eye!!
|
Free RDs why not, it almost makes up for them screwing up your order on your stock. Although Id still try to take them for a new stock.

And I had to take off the front lens covers cause they were in the way. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/IMG_2186.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/IMG_2187.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/IMG_2190.jpg |
Lmao, looks like a ghetto binoc "scope" now
|
Now you need to put a grenade launcher on top of that and a fat lazer on the side!
