http://www.aasurplus.ca/virtuemart/238.html thats the knormal m9 bertta

Or this one

http://www.aasurplus.ca/virtuemart/232.html its the vertec.

they look the same but whats really the diffrence? and what is top gass isnt that green gass?

AXe Hound January 31st, 2008 11:27

bad news a&a dosent sell guns any more.

Chrios January 31st, 2008 11:28

Top Gas was a brand of green gas, but both are really propane.

Can't help you with the differences between the M9s, however...I don't know what it is meself. The HFC Beretta is a nice choice too, if you haven't looked at it yet, and I'd reccomend it on the sole virtue of being fully automatic :D

EDIT: Learn yourself before speaking, much? That doesn't kick in until 31 Mar 08.

I beleive they are until March...

jesster202 January 31st, 2008 11:30

they sell until march 31st that was said in the good bye mark anderson so yes i can buy form them.

AXe Hound January 31st, 2008 11:30

maybe so i just herd that he's not selling any more (my bad)

AXe Hound January 31st, 2008 11:34

well then if i had it pick it would be the m9 it has a nice weight and feel.

Crunchmeister January 31st, 2008 11:49

Both guns are almost the same. The Vertex adds a lower rail (IMO, not much use unless you want a flashlight for CQB) and a slightly different grip than the standard Beretta grip. Otherwise, they're basically the same gun.

Perhaps you should confirm things before blurting out incorrect information. A&A are still in the airsoft gun business till at least the end of March.

dontask January 31st, 2008 11:54

If you have small hands you'll want the vertec
The normal m9 has a slightly rounder and larger grip which IMO gives my large hands a better grip

jesster202 January 31st, 2008 12:16

thanks guys i was wondering what was so diffrent with the vertec lol thats why i asked if their was anything idffrent i like both imo though i want both but i porblay get the knormal one.

I love the M9, and would definitely recommend it over the ugly Vertec version. It's a classic.

Lakonian January 31st, 2008 12:39

Vertec has a 1911 (straight backstrap, like pre A1s) style grip. Which, I think is much nicer than the round back..

Target acquisition seems to be quicker with straight..

Crunchmeister January 31st, 2008 12:48

I love my M9 too. I've got what are technically "better quality" pistols in my collection, but it's still my favorite in every way. The only upgrades mine has had is a 150% recoil spring and some Hogue grips (feel wonderful). It shoots very accurately and quite hard too. It's the most powerful of all my pistols (the only one I can puncture a coke can with).
I have a 190% hammer spring for it too, but never had the balls to take the gun apart to install that yet. Waiting for the presence of a gun doc for that! lol

KJW make good guns. Their upgradability is limited, but the stock guns are great. Just beware of the mags, as they tend to develop leaks. I found that underfilling them (4-5 second propane fill instead of 7-8 seconds) helps preserve them.

matt491 January 31st, 2008 12:55

What crunchmeister said. Trust him, he knows his shit on KJW guns. I found I just have to lub up every 5 or 6 mag fills instead of 8. Keep them lubed and you wont have a problem.

Otherwise, my KJW Silver M9 is one of the best gbb's I own. Honestly, the thing is built like a brick shit house. Heaviest gun I own and shoots damn hard!

Lakonian January 31st, 2008 13:03

Yeah. But KJWs feel toyish, despite their metal frame. IMHO.
