Cyre Vest Knockoff

First Model is in a tan...(which works nicely with MC pouches... or spray it green with some krylon and toss some cadpat TW pouches)

it's 350 though... think Paul needs to work on the price a bit.

I'm waiting for the Multicam Version to come out. I wonder how it compares to www.gunvest.com vests.

Clone of the gunvest

Which is a clone of the real thing. A clone of a clone. The gunvest ones have popped up on e-Bay before, ranging from $550 to $3000

El Cactus Loco December 29th, 2007 20:01

Yes, but apparently only 20 were made with real Crye cordura, those are the sought-after ones. Watch e-Bay, they have popped up before.

How many guys want a genuine mutlicam body armor? If there are enough interests, I will see what I can do. But I will wait for another vest in 2 monthes. This one is made in taiwan.

mcguyver December 29th, 2007 22:21

Well, for me, if tge cost was say $350 for a nylon one vs. $550 for Crye 1000D Cordura, I'd pay the extra for the Cordura.

Cameron2645 December 29th, 2007 22:24

that vest is a load i got mine for 200 and it is from dropzone tactical and i still had money for pouches and then some

mcguyver December 29th, 2007 22:27

You didn't get a Crye Armour Chassis. And I have a ton of Brian's stuff. Good quality, but not always the most up-to-date with mounting options for use with MOLLE/PALS.

Cameron2645 December 29th, 2007 22:30

yea put you can just buy alought of multicam pouches and there one vest with pouches at 600$

mcguyver December 29th, 2007 22:33

Qulaity is always a factor of cost. I've bought some of Brian's stuff when he was clearing it out at less than half price. But that still left me with a rig that cost me about $300 with pouches, instead of the $600+ it would have cost me at retail. I have spent alot of money over the last 2 years just on gear, and no rig I have costs me less than $200, and most were much more. I have no problem spending $500+ on a rig if the quality is there. But I'd be pissed to spend it only to find that they used quality material, but the stitching was shoddy for example.

Cameron2645 December 29th, 2007 22:36

yea but when you pay for brians gear when you rip/destroy it you can retern it and fixed for free and i think i payed 600 for a complete set/with a cadet discount
