Ebay stuff
There's alot of interesting deals on Ebay but does anyone know if the sellers there are generally reliable? or should I stick to the classifieds?
AND, will a sight (something with an adjustable crosshair) get confiscated by customs? |
Thats a general question, equivilant to asking "Hey I saw this dude downtown selling stuff. Are Torontonians generally reliable?"
It all depends on the seller. Optics should not get nailed by CBSA, but can be gay. |
Depending on the optic, they can actually be stopped by US export control officers... Canada customs may let them in to the country, IF American customs allows them OUT of the country. Two governments, two sets of rules.

Simple solution; buy from Canadian Retailers (or from the classifieds here).
|
A lot of people use ehobby on eBay I haven't heard any problems about them. Oh, and I have gotten in a couple of scopes with no problem.
|
Bought a loader from them. They sent me a clear crap one. I emailed and said their add had listed a black one. My new ones in the mail for free right now.
|
Care to send me you clear one then?

Every one is so afraid of ebay its unreal, I shop on ebay for airsoft stuff all the time and you will have no probs for a sight I got mine from HK from a seller with 99.9% positive feed back that is the key only buy for some one with high feedback and sales over 100 that's my rule.
I have ordered and received inner barrels, mags with no bullets, red dot sights, all internals, laser sights ect but there are restricted items like AEG receivers ect, don't be afraid of eBay just remember if its too good to be true it probably is. I do most of my internial upgrade shopping at ehobby. |
