Need Help: Fitting pressure switch into foregrip

I have a dilemma.

The pressure switch for my tac light is too wide to fit into the slot on the side of my foregrip, where I want it housed.

I have already pretty much ripped down the sides and its still just about a mm too thick. I was thinking about bending it into a slight 'V' shape, but was worried that that might make it too sensitive, or even hold it activated.

Any ideas would be helpful - except "get a new foregrip/pressure switch".

Cheers and Thanks

Can you shave down the sides of the slot on the foregrip? A half mil on each side sounds like it would do the trick... unless it's metal :(

that's the next step i think.

you could try a different switch. All you need is a normally open momentarily push button switch. You should be able to find a selection at your hardware store or at an electronic parts store. I found that taping a BB on my preasure switch improved responce time and gave me a better over all awarness of its position.
