Anyone heard from anyone at Anderson and Anderson?

Hey all. I ordered a gun from Mark Anderson of Anderson and Anderson Airsoft (through ASC) mid-March. About three weeks ago, I asked if there was any progress on the gun, as it had been expected to arrive by the beginning of april. He told me that hopefully it would be there within the next few days.

Fast forward to May 5th, when I left him a message saying that this was twice the wait I had been told, and that as I was leaving the country for several months (I have long since left at this point), I wanted either a guarantee of arrival of the gun TO MY DOOR by Monday the 8th, or a full refund via EMT. However, Since writing this message, I have not heard anything from him.

However, I also noticed that he has not even been on this site since I sent the message. Therefore I was wondering A) what this guy's reliability was like (with those who have dealt with him in the past) and B) if anyone knows where he is. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks
~Nigel

Mark is a pretty reliable guy. I've ordered mags and stuff from him on several occasions without problems. The one gun order I placed with him though got really screwed up and I ended up cancelling it. I know a lot of other members here have ordered stuff from him without any problems at all. He's real busy with his store and sometimes things get overlooked.

I ordered and receceived my M4 within a week at the begining of the month

I did an order last week. Got my stuff in under 5 days.

Mark is generally very reliable, in my experience. The only issue he sometimes has is that as a novice player, he doesn't know everything about everything when it comes to airsoft guns (reference the non-PCS Tanaka issue from a couple of months back). I'd guesstimate that 95% of his customers are satisfied with the product + service, but you can't please everyone - he does try, though.

Sometimes delays happen that are out of his control (for example, a overseas retailer liek WGC who shows a stocked item on a website; Mark places the order on behalf of a customer, and unknown to him the item is out of stock. He waits a week or more for it to ship, waits as the order clears customs, he gets the box and finds something is missing. Then he has to go back and track down what was ordered and why it's not iin the box, and the customer has already been waiting weeks or months).

I think it's important to understand that now, more than ever, there will be delays in getting items, especially special orders. With only a few retailers left, the ones that do exist are swamped, and they can't control what CBSA do with the packages once they get to customs.

I'm half in agreement with you.

When I order stuff that is in stock his service is fast and absolutely impeccable.

With respect to a pre-order I am involved in his communications has left some to be desired. I understand that he may well be facing many challenges and problems in importing, but I would like to be told about it or updated now and again. Monthly would be fine by me.

I'm in the same situation. Based on other posts I asked him if he could get me a metal slide/outer barrel from Redwolf. He responded with a price and the words, "plus shipping". I emailed that I wanted the item and would pay as soon as I got a total cost. Haven't heard anything since and even bought a gun from him in the meantime and inquired about the order status. Still nothing.

You have sooo many other options for parts. Why not deal with airsoftparts.ca ? Jugglez has always kept contact. If there's a problem, you're the first to know... unlike some other retailers.

I'm aware of that but I did commit to Mark that I'd buy the item if he got it for me. Maybe it's en route, maybe it isn't. I'd just like to know either way. Other posts have indicated that frequent emailers go on his Ignore list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't your age posted as 15, or something along those lines?

Anyway.. I think I was put on his ignore list. I was supposed to buy some USP mags a while back. He said he'd order them, and tell me when they'd be in. Never got a message after that.
