Battery Help.

Right, so I got my first airsoft gun a little while ago. It's pretty cool and I want to head out to the local club a try some skirmishes. Unfortunatly, my gun didn't come with a battery, and I can't seem to find the battery the instructions say to use on any of the on-line stores. I'm assuming that there are acceptable alternatives, but, seeing how I'm new, I'm not sure what will fit my gun. I have a P90, and the instructions say that I need a TM 8.4 600mAh. Any suggestions on an alternative. I've already checked the ASCA, and I even e-mailed the guy, but no one has gotten back to me and I wan't to order my battery.

Thanks for any help.

this battery should work, you want an 8.4 volt mini type battery. the higher the mah the longer it will last. you should also get a good battery charger like this one http://aasurplus.ca/airsoft/product_...products_id=85 because a normal wall charger will fry your battery over time

^ Thanks. The one from asca was the one I was looking at, but TM gives a very specific description of battery for this gun. One other question, where do you get the chargers? Radio Shack? Or are the specific chargers for these batteries? Where do you guys get them?

*edit* other than the online store, where do you get the chargers?

Hey carl just go to your local hobby shop that has high end rc cars and radio cont planes, they will be able to make you a custom battery for you gun (like an 8.4 2000)
they will also have high end chargers and explain how to use them so you dont ruin your battery.

Call shop first and tell them what you want, might not be a good idea to just show up with your p90

This is a really good place to buy batteries:

I purchased quite a bit from them...

If you complete your profile with a clearer location (City and Province is fine) we can probably direct you to local resources.
