Presenting the NEW KSC USP45 - Lots of Pictures

Presenting the KSC USP .45

Good evening fine friends of soft air, I just received my USP45 and wanted to share these pictures with you. A review is soon to follow, but I will include a few tidbits of information for those interested.

- Slide is plasticy like the KSC G Series and USP Compact
- Frame is also plasticy and made with the same lightweight plastics found on the G Series
- The pistol it self is extremely light without the magazine
- However so, the gun itself is solid, and when the slide is pulled back, it makes a delicious click sound
- Working decocker!
- Unfortunately it DOES have the textured hammer problem included in one of the pictures below
- Ships with USP Compact booklet and comes with the usual crap
- Blowback is average and nothing special

Differences between the Japan and TW versions
- Missing the "Heckler and Koch GmbH" trades and the serial number on the top right part of the frame
- Missing the trades and wording on the magazines, but still maintians the HK logo on the baseplate
- Shipped with a USP Compact manual rather than the one designed specifically for this gun, though it has identical operation and isnt really that big of a deal

Over all, great appearance, a little light weight for my liking, but with a metal slide installed it will be fantastic.

Upgrade options: Shooters Design CNC Machined 7075 AL Slide + Threaded barrel set is currently available for a hefty price of $137.00 USD.

Wow...mind telling us how much it set you back?

Got mine from SpecArms, they are $289.95 before shipping however they are currently out of stock at this point. Not a bad price to pay for such a nice gun.

Love it.

HK Hawtness.

Awesome pics!

How come your trades are white? The one I bought is just engraved.... no colours. The trades are identical to yours, just not coloured.

Did you find that the nozzle at the bottom of the mag is in an awkward angle?

Mr Jon February 10th, 2006 02:09

I filled in my trademarks with a white crayon so when I photographed them you could see what they said, plus they look a hell of a lot nicer than the vauge empty ones. Also you are right, the valve is at a strange angle, but it doesnt seem to affect the preformance of the magazine or make loading gas any harder.

very nice gun i like the pics

Man, cant wait until I get mine. I've been waiting so long for a decent USP .45, not just a 9mm.

PS: putting a lowly glock in the same picture as a USP, for shame. ;-)

Better get that order into SpecArms... I believe they have another shipment inbound.... They sold all (10) theirs in about 5 days!

Ghost Snake February 10th, 2006 19:22

I might have to wait 2 weeks, I just pre-ordered the MP7. This USP .45 is definitely my next gun though. I still need to figure out exactly what the difference is between the Japan and Taiwan versions.
